How Desilter works and its history
Desilter is designed by the theory of particle sedimentation. The separation medium-drilling fluid produces some pressure and speed when it passes the centrifugal pump and flows into the hydrocyclone along the wall, the bigger solid particles along the wall of hydrocyclone sink spirally under the centrifugal force and gravity, and to be discharged from the bottom flow hole and fall on the under micro-mesh sieve for separation.
The other mediums rise along the spiral of hydrocyclone, flow into the fourth class separation equipment-centrifuge for a further cleaning treatment from the overflow hole.
Desilter produced by JT Machinery can be adjusted to control the handling capacity to match the different requirements. It is widely used in petroleum drilling and HDD (Horizontal directional drilling).
Oilfield Desilter Feeding Pump
The desilter feeding pump is a set of centrifugal pumps made by a set of pump heads, an electrical motor, and a coupler. The pump is a mechanical seal instead of a packing seal compared that many China supplier supply packing seals. The pump main components are the pump head and an electrical motor. The electrical motor can be supplied in different specifications and certificates like IECEC, ATEX, DGMS, or others depending on requirements at different rates. The pump is easy maintenance with impeller, bearing, and oil seal replacement as spare parts.
